[Tweet “Being open-minded and feeling expansive about time delivers tremendous joy and possibility.”]
And it can unleash your happiness and success in ways you never thought imaginable.
If you feel limited in some way by the concept of time, or if you feel like you never have enough time, then I invite you to read on.
I believe that most of us face time challenges. We are too busy, too stressed, and don’t have enough time to do the things we REALLY want to do! And, we often fail to play outside of our common(ly limiting) beliefs.
Our perception of time and our common (to us) beliefs are two facets of the human condition that can limit us and reduce our experience of happiness and success.
Conversely, our perception of time and willingness to consider and play with new beliefs can unleash our ultimate happiness and success.
Quite literally, let’s face it, our time here is limited.
And, all we have is time.
Yet our world can be anything that we are willing to believe it to be. The realm of possibility is limitless.
When I go walking I explore the physical landscape around me and the landscape of my mind. I think, dream, visualize, and navigate the happy, sad, and other feeling places. And then, if I’m lucky, it gets quiet for a little while.
Freedom, flexibility, and abundance are three things that I highly value. I’m on a journey to create and embrace more freedom, flexibility, and abundance in my life these days.
It occurs to me today that we all have choices. But sometimes we can forget. In fact, it is easy to forget when our head is spinning in a state of overwhelm.
Many weekday mornings I go to the lake for a walk after dropping off Aiden at school and before starting my work.
This is a priceless part of my day for innumerable reasons.
At the lake, I see people out walking dogs, walking and jogging alone and with friends, playing tennis, doing bootcamp at the pavilion, biking, doing yard work, and often, I see boaters and jet skiers, and people kayaking, canoeing, and fishing.
And I feel creative, inspired, whole, and limitless.
I also see many dark houses.
And I feel sad sometimes. I wonder who lives there and where they are. I consider how hard they are working or what they may be giving up to “live the dream.”
Sometimes I wonder… How are these lucky guys out boating or jet skiing at 9 o’clock on a Tuesday?
And then I realize that they do it by coming to the water with their boats and jet skis and getting in.
I embrace and celebrate this as I remember that all we have is time, and I believe that anything is possible!
So today I declare that I too can go boating and jet skiing at 9 o’clock on a random Tuesday morning if I so choose. ❤️❤️❤️
And I commit to my daily walk as it expands the possibilities I am able to see in my mind. Although it takes an hour, the quality of the other 23 are better because I go.
