“My life is joyously balanced with work and play.” ~ Louise Hay
Today I want to share a note from last Monday.
It is all about how to revolutionize success and create a lifestyle of loving each day…
Which I believe happens when we joyously balance work and play.
To summarize, here are 5 steps to achieving success without compromising happiness:
1. Clarify your vision and values and create an inspired plan.
2. Get intentionial about how you spend time, and create a routine.
Note: Aim to feel good and do things that support your vision and plan every day.
3. Follow through. Extend yourself grace. Weave in exquisite self-care and fun!
4. Reassess your vision and values, your plan, and your routine.
5. Rinse and repeat.
so here’s that note from Monday…
I am grateful for Mondays. I have BIG plans for the week, but first, Monday is “MOMday.” It is a time dedicated to preparation, planning, and rejuvenation.
What are Mondays like for you?
I love being an entrepreneur because it allows me the flexibility to design the week around my desires and my family.
On Mondays I usually buy groceries, do food prep, have a money date, and catch up on the never ending, ever-loving laundry.
I have discovered that taking Monday to focus on these activities gives me
- more energy
- greater productivity
- happiness at home
- sweet success in my business.
Then I am free to focus no work mid-week.
Tuesday is admin day, Wednesday is for clients & connections, Thursday programs, and Friday self-care.
Saturday is for activities/fun/chores/projects and Sunday is usually rest and rejuvenation or play.
Your ideal agenda would be different but this is what it is for me.
It doesn’t always happen this way, no. But I have a plan that I love, and when I get in a funk I circle back to my ideals of fun, family, and freedom.
What does your ideal week look like?
Are you living it?
Sometimes I get caught up in the craziness and lose faith and get off schedule.
But when I trust, follow the plan, and take care of myself it feels great! This way I have more to give.
And it works.
Things get done.
When I first started my business I used to bust a$$ all week long and through the weekend to try to “get it all done.” I would sacrifice sleep and exercise, meals, and time with my boys.
Because that’s what I saw happening in the world and that is what I thought I SHOULD do too.
I was either working every moment or thinking about working every moment. And I was feeling guilty if I did household chores or took time to take care of myself or spend time with my family.
Turns out, that was a self-defeating strategy.
And it felt terrible.
Plus, it was not creating the results I desired.
Just frustration, upset, and disappointment.
So I shook things up and
- redesigned my business plan
- created an entirely new business model
- changed my work schedule
- created new products and services, and
- increased time off.
I also enlisted a boatload of support, including a sales coach, a business attorney, a business coach, and an online business management system.
I am beginning to embrace a 12-20 hour work week that honors my values, delivers greater value to my clients, outsources the things I don’t love doing, and includes multiple streams of passive income.
And guess what?
I am seeing far better results and it FEELS AMAZING.
I am no longer stressed, confused, overworked, or overwhelmed.
I feel more peaceful, confident, and better equipped to grow my business and my family while loving life.
Turns out, I can be far more productive if I receive support, work less, and allow myself downtime, family time, and me time.
Some say these family, household, and self-care activities are a waste of time and better outsourced.
But I take great joy in doing them.

It sucks the life out of you.
(Been there, done that).
And nobody else can manage your money, your health, your happiness, your home, or your family like you do.
Instead, find creative ways to receive more support in these areas.
Bring on the laundry and clutter clearing.
Bring on a Money Date.
Bring on a beautiful, organized home.
Bring on inspired, abundant success planning.
Bring on what equips me to go BIG.
Bring on rejuvenation and recovery from the weekend.
Bring on clearer boundaries and more hell yesses.
As they say, if it is not a “hell yes,” it is a “no.”
I am ready. Are you?
Let’s do this!

Eventually you must break free.
Because your soul is not small. You are here to do great things.
